Hey there my lovelies! I am sorry for not posting anything in a while but taking care of yourself and trying to survive in a big city is a full time job! I don't know if I explicitly mentioned it before, but 4 months ago I moved from an island in Greece in Copenhagen and I thought about making a post with advice based on my experience (Or at least part 1). So if you are thinking about changing your life and want to know how it could turn out and what you should do to "survive", or maybe if you just love reading about other people's experiences, then keep on reading!
P.s. this post could probably be relevant to many other cases as well and its goal is to inspire and motivate you to take matters into your own hands!
1. Leaving your parent's house and living on your own can be quite frightening. Or more specifically, PETRIFFYING. Having to pay the rent, the elecricity bill and everything you eat and wear is a big responsibility. However, the independence is something I enjoy a lot! You can always choose what to do and when to do it and this is why I love living by myself.
2. This however takes me to my second point. You have to organize your schedule and make yourself study and pass all of your classes. We all want to party all day and night but you also need to think about your future and get your degree!
3. Meeting new people. One of the best parts of getting a new start and moving to a different country, is all the people you meet. You have the chance to get to know different people with different backgrounds and cultures. People from all around the world! And ofcourse make new, amazing friends. I have honestly met the most interesting, ambitious and dedicated people during those 4 months and I intend to expand my network even more. Take advantage of the fact that noone knows you. Go around, introduce yourself and always have a smile on your face. Not everyone will be your friend but the more people you meet, the higher the probability of finding stunning people!
